Article 164-(2). The examination under Article 72 paragraph 2 of this Law shall be conducted once a year. However, the examination of knowledge and skills concerning the matters listed in Article 163 paragraph 2 subparagraph 2 (except the case when the examination Shall be conducted for a person who has received training specified by the Minister of Transport in the same year)shall be conducted twice a year.
2. The provisions of the preceding Article shall apply to the examinations tinder the preceding paragraph.
Article 164-(3). The provisions of Article 164 paragraph 2 and 3 shall apply to examinations under Article 72 paragraph 3 of the Law.
(Application for Designation as Designated Scheduled Air Carrier)
Article 164-(4). Any person who applies for designation as a designated scheduled air carrier under Article 72 paragraph 5 of the Law shall submit to the Minister of Transport an application describing the following items;
(1)Name and address;
(2)Routes to be covered by said scheduled air transportation service;
(3)The number of pilots employed and the number of persons employed who have obtained approval under Article 72 paragraph 1 of the Law;
(4)Other referential matters.
2. Training and examination regulations shall be attached to the application under the preceding paragraph.
3. The training and examination regulations under the preceding paragraph shall include the following items:
(1)The following items relating to any person to whom the designated scheduled air carrier intends to give approval under Article 72 paragraph S of the Law (hereinafter referred to as "a candidate for pilot-in-command"), and relating to ally person for whom the designated scheduled air carrier intends to obtain designation under paragraph 9 of the same Article (hereinafter referred to as "acandidate for pilot inspector"):
a)Method of selection,
b)Training system,
c)Training method;
(2)The following matters relating to approval under Article 72 paragraph 5 of the Law and to examinations under paragraph 6 of the same Article:
